St Croix County Historical Society is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization. Your charitable contributions support local history!
St Croix County Historical Society and Octagon House Museum Complex serves as a local repository for historic objects, photographs, written works, and textiles. Artifacts considered for donation to our collections should have a documented history, be in good condition, and have historic significance to the history of our county.
We appreciate donations of fundraising vintage items and antiques for our Shoppe in the Carriage House or our annual Vintage & Variety Sale.
We cannot accept any baby items, electronics, exercise equipment, or car parts.
Donated items must be in good and undamaged condition.
Memorial donations can be made in memory of a deceased loved one. Your memorial can be acknowledged with a listing in the Historical Society’s newsletter and on signage in the reception area at the Octagon House Museum.
Donations in honor of living individuals are also available.
With a bequest you’ll leave a legacy and reduce taxes while helping the Historical Society with its ongoing mission.
Built through charitable gifts of cash, property, stock, bequests, trusts, and annuities, these gifts are invested to provide ongoing support.
